Jonathan Brenner
Jonathan Brenner is an Atlanta-based singer-songwriter who defies easy classification. Described as “somewhere between LA and Nashville,” his music is a unique amalgam of genres, including pop, country, folk, Americana, and jazz. His musical influences include Bob Dylan, Hank Williams, the Beatles, Cole Porter, and Antônio Carlos Jobim.

Jonathan’s music career began in earnest in 2016 when he began to record his debut album with producer Billy Gewin at the legendary Cave Cricket Studio in Tucker, Georgia. The two quickly discovered that they shared similar musical sensibilities and embarked on a two-and-a-half year musical adventure that became Playin’ Hooky with My Baby, enlisting a virtual who’s who of the Atlanta music scene in bringing Jonathan’s artistic vision to fruition.

Jonathan currently resides in Midtown Atlanta and is working on his second LP, Instagram Success, while he performs periodically at local venues.

Donations, which are accepted at the door and for refreshments, benefit Central’s “Lena Werking Fund” for local charities with all proceeds go directly to a different local charity each month. Suggested donation is $10 but please don’t stay away for lack of funds… we want you there!

Important Updates

1) Shows start at 7pm and run until 9pm. Doors open at 6:30pm.
2) Effective March 11 2023, masks are welcome but not required.
3) Refreshments are now served and consumed out in the lobby area; no food or drink in the Fellowship Hall where the performances are staged.
4) Suggested donation at the door is now $10. But pease don’t stay away for lack of funds, though… we want you there.
